Terms of Service – AI Chef

1. Description of the Service

AI Chef is a mobile application that helps users:

• Analyze food ingredient photos using artificial intelligence
• Generate recipe suggestions based on detected ingredients
• Save favorite recipes and view scan history
• Access premium features via subscription plans

Some features of the App may require an internet connection and/or a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AI Chef. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

• You may use AI Chef as a guest or with authentication features (Apple Sign In / Google Sign-In)
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and account
• You agree not to misuse the App or attempt to access restricted areas

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Premium Features

AI Chef offers optional premium subscriptions that may include:

• Unlimited photo scanning
• Access to all recipes without limits
• Unlimited favorites
• Ad-free experience
• Serving size adjustment
• Edit past scans
• Advanced recipe filters

4.2 Billing

• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Pricing, taxes, and billing periods are determined by Apple or Google
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase

4.3 Free Trials

• Free trials may be offered for eligible users
• If not canceled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan

4.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via:
Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android)

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal or harmful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the App
• Upload content that is abusive, offensive, or misleading
• Interfere with the App’s performance or security

6. Intellectual Property

• All content, trademarks, logos, and software in AI Chef are owned by or licensed to us
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use only
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell any part of the App

You are responsible for verifying recipes, ingredients, and dietary suitability.

9. Data & Privacy

10. Service Availability & Changes

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Features and pricing may change, with notice where required by law

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if:

• These Terms are violated
• Misuse or abuse is detected
• Required by law or platform policies

You may stop using the App at any time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
